Dissemination & Project Experience | Health System Assessment

I'm glad to share my experience working on the project "Implementation of Health System Assessment for System-Level Quality Improvement in Bangladesh (PHC Component)," implemented by the CoE HS&UHC, BRAC JPGSPH, with support from The World Bank.

This project gave me a great opportunity to understand how Bangladesh's primary healthcare system handles challenges in maternal, newborn, and non-communicable disease services, especially in hard-to-reach areas. It provided key insights into service readiness, quality gaps, provider capacity, and patient needs.

I was mainly responsible for the quantitative component, where I contributed to data cleaning, management, analysis, interpretation, and creating visuals for the final report, specifically for the facility assessment findings.

As part of the final dissemination, I had a key role in organizing the National Dissemination Workshop on April 27, 2025. This event was attended by Directors, Line Directors, and Programme Managers from DGHS, officials from DGFP, World Bank representatives, and other public health stakeholders.

Beyond my analytical work, I led the coordination of the entire workshop, from engaging stakeholders and managing communications to handling venue logistics and on-the-day execution.

This experience strengthened my skills in quantitative research and health systems analysis, and also improved my ability to manage high-level stakeholder events that support evidence-to-policy efforts.
